Historical-star advantage matters less than it looks. A 200k-star framework with a flat release cadence ranks below a 15k-star one currently shipping a major release because the cross-source score weights live momentum. Reading the list, the questions that decide adoption: streaming and edge-function support, the data-loading story for your stack, how type safety travels across the network boundary (tRPC-shape vs server-actions-shape vs traditional REST), and how the framework's deployment story matches what you can actually run.
